Camp Y-Koda Outdoor Skills and Education

Sheboygan Falls, Sheboygan County
 See Camp Location
Description
Camp Y-Koda exists on 80 beautiful acres along the Sheboygan River. We promote responsible stewardship of our environment through hands-on experiences. Camp Y-Koda proudly serves over 12,000 youth and families each year and was awarded Outdoor Education Center of the Year in 2011 by the Wisconsin Wildlife Federation.

Our summer camps offer a variety of experiences to captivate the interest of children from age four to sixteen. We offer traditional day camps, as well as Pee Wee Camps-designed especially for young children to enjoy a great first-time camp experience, Specialty Camps-designed to further skill development in a specific area, and Off-site Adventure Camps-that provide an amazing and valuable learning experience.

Well trained, enthusiastic staff is the key to positive camp experience. Camp counselors are chosen for their maturity, skills, patience, enthusiasm and desire to be good role models for children. Staff members are certified in First Aid, CPR, lifeguarding, and shaken baby syndrome prevention and participate in intensive pre-camp training in safety, emergency procedures, counseling, abuse and bullying recognition, teaching techniques and camp protocol. Counselors lead campers in activities that reflect the YMCA core values of caring, responsibility, respect and honesty.
