University Community Orchestra

Concert: Friday, August 1 at 7:30 pm This ensemble invites advanced beginners, age 14 or older, or skilled amateurs to rehearse and perform together. It is open to high school and college students and community members who can read music and enjoy playing classical symphonic repertoire. UWM Music Professor and Director of Orchestral Activities Margery Deutsch supervises weekly rehearsals and her graduate conducting staff at UWM. Musicians do not need to audition to be in the orchestra. The first rehearsal is May 28. The orchestra performs in the Helen Bader Concert Hall on Friday, August 1 at 7:30 pm.
If you are a new member, you must also contact Margery Deutsch by May 14 at 414-229-4609 to let her know what instrument you play and what part you prefer (violin 2, flute 1, etc.)
