"Nature in the Parks professional teaching naturalists provide fun, exciting, science-based environmental education programs to children in Milwaukee County and surrounding areas. Adventure Summer 2009 invites and encourages children and their parents to experience the environment through creative and participative activities in a day camp setting. Choose the programs which fit your child's interests and age group. Hands-on discovery and nature hikes are a part of each program. Adventure Summer 2009 day camp themes include but are not limited to outdoor awareness skills, survival techniques, fishing, insects, birds, soil, plants and so much more!
Nature in the Parks offers year round environmental education and natural history programming to libraries, schools, daycare centers, pre-schools and youth groups. The programs are aligned with state curriculum standards. Nature in the Parks also provides educational enhancement opportunities for teachers.
