"Camp Birchrock encourages fun and learning primarily through win-win activities while respecting nature and protecting the environment. This is done in a rustic setting which serves up to 50 campers a session. Cabin groups range from eight to 12 campers with an adult counselor and 1-2 teenage youth counselors. Camp Birchrock gets back to the basics of a traditional summer camp experience. Youth will experience a wide range of activities that are high energy, yet encourage leadership skills, teamwork, and self-esteem building. Campers will return home with months worth of stories to share with you!"

Location: Five miles west of Rhinelander on Cty. Hwy. K, Oneida County
Program: Resident and day camp. Sessions for - coeds ages 7 to 17
Season: June 8 to August 15
Sessions: Day Camp: 3 - One week sessions from June 8th - June 26th
Residential Overnight Camp: 5 - One week sessions starting on July 13th - August 15th.
Registration: Early Bird discount if registered by May 1. Full payment by two weeks prior to camp ($50 deposit required to register). Physical required for resident camp.
Fees: Resident camp: $225 per week. Day camp: $100 per week.
Campership assistance is available for families with special financial needs.
Activities:
Backpacking/camping, baseball, canoeing/kayaking, crafts, cultural/ethnic awareness, dance, drama, exercise/aerobics/fitness, field hockey/lacrosse, football, leadership training, meditation/conflict resolution, music, nature/environmental studies, outdoor skills, painting/drawing, photography, reading/book study, soccer, swimming, tennis, wilderness tripping, woodworking, writing
Medical Care: On-staff 24/7 Paramedic. Daily visits by an RN.
Parent Visitation: Parents may visit at any time, but not encouraged due to the increase of homesickness.

Accreditations and Affiliations: Camp Fire USA - Oneida Council, American Camping Association, State approved.
Eligibility limited to group members: Do not have to be Camp Fire member to attend.
