Camp Kawaga for Boys
Minocqua, Oneida County
Camp Kawaga is an all boys overnight camp located in the middle of the Northwoods of Wisconsin, just one mile from the beautiful town of Minocqua. Kawaga is an active and sporty camp with something for everyone of our campers. In addition to all of the traditional sports and games, we also have archery, riflery, arts & crafts/wood working, hockey and a full overnight tripping program. Our waterfront and water related activities are unparalleled - whether its our amazing waterski program, sailing, boating/canoeing or swimming, Kawaga campers are always having fun in the beautiful Lake along the Shores.
While we are a very active and fun camp, an important part of Kawaga's rich, 98-year heritage is our emphasis on Sportsmanship, Fellowship, Spirit, Enthusiasm, and Leadership. It's all summed up in Kawaga's Ideal, which is something most Kawaga campers know and hold close to their heart. Kawaga campers return at a rate of over 90% each summer and attend for many summers.
Our goal is for each boy to have the best summer of his life, while continuing to learn life's most valuable skills. It takes only a single summer to appreciate the Kawaga Magic, but its impact lasts a lifetime.
