UWM College for Kids/Teens

College for Kids/Teens is an academic enrichment program for young students who have high academic potential, an interest in subject matter and motivation or talent. The summer educational supplement program, now in its 28th year, consist of one and two-week classes taught by UWM faculty or highly qualified and experienced instructors. All programs are held at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and are designed to provide your children with an academic edge.
This fun and educational program attracts more than 2,000 students annually with a variety of exciting hands-on learning opportunities in computers, math, science, fine arts and humanities. College for Kids programs are for children in grades K5-8; and College for Teens is for grades 9-12. Kindergartners must be five years old and must have prior five-days-a-week school experience. When registering, use fall 2010 grade levels.

University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee 2200 E Kenwood Blvd Milwaukee, WI 53201Day camp. Sessions for - coeds ages 5 to 18. June 17 to August 13Summer classes are held Monday - Friday, either one or two weeks long meeting 2-3 hours each day. Several week long camps will meet for the entire day.Please call 227-3200 to register.Most classes range from $89-$149. Family University, Magic on the Move, Traveling Theatre, The Writing Project and The Mystery of Sunken Ships will range from $159-$375 each.Activities: Computers/technology, crafts, cultural/ethnic awareness, drama, exercise/aerobics/fitness, language studies, leadership training, mathematics, mechanical/car repair, model rockets, music, nature/environmental studies, outdoor skills, painting/drawing, reading/book study, writing. Also - Before and After Care is provided for an additional fee. Chaperoning children to and from classes is included. Please call for more information.
