"Divine Savior Holy Angels High School (DSHA) is hosting summer camps for young women in the areas of academics and sports. The sports camps for girls entering grades 5 to 9 provide specialized instruction in basketball, volleyball, softball and soccer. Taught by coaches of DSHA’s respective varsity teams as well as alumnae players, our sessions provide instruction in the fundamentals of the game, strategies necessary to play in competitive game situations, technical training in individual skill work and tactical training in offensive and defensive skills. The academic camps are open to girls entering grades 7 & 8 and provide specialized instruction in art, dance or algebra. Classes available are Art: Exploring the Landscape, Gotta Dance, and Operation Algebra: Thinking through Problem Solving. All classes are taught by current DSHA teachers. Session times are coordinated to allow girls to make a day of it and attend an academic camp in the morning and an athletic camp in the afternoon, or vice versa." Sessions run four or five consecutive days, from one to two and one-half hours.
