Great Northern Riding Camp

If you are searching for the very best horseback riding camp for your child in the Mid-West then you have found it. Great Northern Riding Club has been offering young children the most intensive and fun horse camp available for nearly 20 years. Horses are the subject at this camp and participating campers are able to learn how to groom, feed, ride and are able to participate in horse shows that are held at the facility. Focusing on rider/ horse relationships with intensive studies on safety and skills. English riding with Dressage basics are primarily taught with Western horses available. Overnight sessions open to girls. Day Camp sessions run daily and are open to both girls and boys. Beginner to advance, all level of riders are welcome.

Our programs are more than a summer camp, they set kids on a path to success. We boast alumni who are successful in many Equestrian fields.Mid June 2 to Early September 6Six weeks overnight sessions for 2015. Starting June 21 - August 2nd. Come one week, two or more. Best discounts for multiple weeks. Horse show opportunities all summer. Day Camp classes run from Memorial Day through Labor Day.Complete registration form with deposit of $200.00 to reserve spot. Balance due at camp.Overnight session for 2015 are $875.00 - $1000 per week.Activities: Bicycling, crafts, exercise/aerobics/fitness, gardening/farming, horseback riding (English), horseback riding (Western), leadership training, music, nature/environmental studies, outdoor skills, painting/drawing, photography, swimming, weight training, writing. Also - Horse and stable management studies. Beginner to advanced. English, Dressage and Western. Programs offer life skills, positive choices for young children.
