HIP (Health In Practice) Careers Camp

| It's your future NOW ... From dieticians and nurse practitioners to pharmacists and respiratory therapists, career prospects in the field of health have never been brighter. As a student, what can you do today to prepare yourself to take full advantage of many exciting opportunities in health care tomorrow? HIP Careers Camp, a week-long program from Children's Health Education Center, can help you explore the options and chart your course towards a rewarding career in health! For students entering 7th grade through senior year in high school, fun camp experiences include field trips to local health care facilities, guest speakers, goal setting and teambuilding activities, fun and interactive games plus lots of hands-on learning!

1533 N. RiverCenter Drive Milwaukee, WI 53212Day camp. Sessions for - coeds grades 7 to 12. Late June to Early August. Choose one sessionSession 1: June 21-25, 2010 for 7th, 8th and 9th graders
Session 2: August 2-6, 2010 for 10th, 11th and 12th gradersAdvance registration is required. Call (414) 390-2166. Space is limited to 30 campers per session. Registrations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.$129 fee payable to Children's Health Education Center includes registration, materials, HIP Camp T-shirt and snacks. Students should bring a bag lunch.Activities: -Field trips to local health care facilities
