Madison Central Montessori Summer Programs
Madison, Dane County
For Preschool Children (*Students must be fully toilet-trained): Montessori Classroom instruction. 8-11:30 a.m. each day. Available for 8 weeks total.
Summer Splash: Daily indoor activities include storytelling, music and movement, small manipulative materials, building blocks, creative dramatics, arts & crafts and special activities focusing on the theme of the week. Outdoor activities will include short hikes and picnics, plus the usual playground activities which, on hot, sunny days, will include water fun.
For Elementary Students: (incoming 1st - 5th graders):
Computer classes, outdoor skills, sports, nature/environmental studies, fiber arts. Also: Summer Jamboree (mornings and/or afternoons): Children will eat lunch together at MCMS before heading off for a variety of adventures in and around Madison in the afternoons. Children will have an opportunity to swim at pools and in lakes, take trips to the zoo, visit local museums and more. Morning programs may include cooking, art, science or backyard games here at MCMS. This is sure to be a dynamic experience as instructors tailor activities to the children's interests.
