Maywood - Ellwood H. May Environmental Park
Sheboygan, Sheboygan County
Maywood summer day camps for children ages 4-15 offer outdoor activities that meet our park's mission of promoting environmental stewardship through real life experiences. We added an EcoBuds Mini-Camp for 4-6 year olds and their lucky parents! Join us for half day camp experiences, Monday through Friday 9am-12:00pm or 1:00-4:00pm. Maywood's Early Bird camps for ages 7-9 are weeklong day camps with two themes to choose from: Water Wonders in session I and Prairie Pals in session II.
Maywood's EcoCamps have a variety of choices for older campers. EcoSurvivors for ages 11-15 is our all girls challenge camp focusing on self-esteem building, teambuilding, and stewardship. EcoExplorers for ages 11-14 offers a Fishing Frenzy theme this year, with various fishing opportunities and instruction as well as all the old camp favorite activities. EcoAdventurers gives campers the Best of the Best and a chance to choose their favorite activities daily! EcoArtists camp is a popular art camp infused with fun ecological learning and traditional camp fun!
Most day camps include one overnight campout with campfire, field trips, and special guests.
