Camp Onaway Island
Waupaca, Waupaca County
| Camp Onaway Island is uniquely situated on a private 6.5 acre island located on the beautiful Chain O' Lakes near Waupaca, Wisconsin. Caring adult volunteer mentors provide fun-filled week-long boys, girls, adventure, leadership, and family summer camps, creating a safe experience for over 100 years. Days are packed full of fun activities like swimming, canoeing, waterskiing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, sailing, campfires, tournaments, crafts, volleyball, basketball, fishing, a low and high ropes challenge course, and much more. Camper to adult mentor ratio varies per camp, but is rarely lower than 4:1(camper:adult). Camp is a very special place for youth. There are lots of exciting things to do like waterskiing and high ropes, but sometimes you are struck by how much the little things mean. One camper absolutely loved meals because we all sit together as a family and socialize. Her family never eats together at home so it meant a lot to her. Onaway Island is the most perfect place on earth. Let your child discover the magic of Onaway. An outstanding value with very reasonable rates.
