"The Fire Science Career Exploration Program consists of basic and advanced four-day camps. Participants may include young people ages 15-20 who are interested in fire science, as well as explorer post cadets and fire department interns."

Activities will include classroom lecture and lab experiments about the chemistry and physics of fire behavior, mechanics of ropes, pulleys and levers, teamwork, communication and problem-solving. |

Registration deadline is June 23. Fees include meals, lodging, all activities and insurance. |

Resident: $175-$225 |

| Leadership training, meditation/conflict resolution, rope course. Also - Field activities include how to handle ladders, hoses and fire extinguishers, self-contained breathing apparatus and personal protective equipment. |
