"Classes are designed for children ages 4-6: Music theory and instruction are wrapped up in a playful, silly package with lots of full-body motion. Let's Play Music! is an excellent way to sing, play and LEARN MUSIC this summer. Camps are a great intro for any child planning to start a musical instrument, or for children planning to enroll in the LETS PLAY MUSIC school-year piano course. Parents may, but are not required to stay during class. Be sure to try a session of each RED and BLUE. LITTLE BLUE BUGS: RHYTHM: This one week course emphasizes RHYTHM. In four 60 minute lessons we study and practice keeping a steady beat, subdividing the beat, rhythmic notation, reading and performing rhythms. Don't tell your child, though...he'll think it's all just fun and games. $30 LITTLE RED BALLOON: READING: This two week course emphasizes PITCH and STAFF READING. In eight 60 minute lessons, puppets, games, and props are used to study and practice the major scale, Solfeggio syllables (DO, RE, MI) and hand signs, matching pitch, reading on the staff, playing patterns from the staff on melody tone bells, and more. The only way to make it more fun is to bring a friend. $60"
