Wisconsin Space Academy

Menasha, Winnebago County
 See Camp Location
Description
Space science is exciting and fun, especially when you get to build and fly your own rocket! Our Cadets participate in lots of hands-on activities and rocket launches, and they get to study the constellations, planets and deep space in the world-class Barlow Planetarium dome. The Barlow is the only place in Wisconsin to study the constellations, solar system and beyond in 3-D virtual reality. Cadets create their own planetarium show, which is presented on the fourth day of the camp for Family Night.

Astronomy is a field in which amateurs contribute every day, and astronomy is a science that inspires the imagination. Cadets who participate in the Wisconsin Space Academy gain experience and new friends, and they begin to develop skills that they can use in absolutely any career they eventually pursue.
