Description
Summer Adventure 2011!

Summer Camps, Adventure Trips, Family Camps and Day Camps

The Central Wisconsin Environmental Station (CWES) is located 19 miles east of Stevens Point on Sunset Lake amid towering pines and rolling hills. We have 200 acres of forests, lakes and wetlands. As a model outdoor education center and field station of the UW-Stevens Point College of Natural Resources, we have built our programs on a tradition of excellence in learning, health, safety, and stewardship since 1975. When we’re not holding summer camps at CWES, our staff are training University students and school teachers how to become natural resource educators and youth leaders, running one day and overnight school programs, and working with adult groups that use our facilities and food service for meetings, rustic conferences, and family reunions.
