"WHERE NATURE IS FUN! This summer let your childs natural curiosity for nature be Discovered. Located in the Northwoods of Wisconsin on a 1,500-acre lake, SNC offers fun and exciting traditional camping activities for boys and girls ages 6-15.
Campers are involved caring for furry friends, doing hands on science projects an even catching frogs. Our nature center is a laboratory equipped with natural science materials that stimulate curiosity while providing furry friends to care for and love. In addition, campers will take field trips with forest rangers and participate in activities ranging from butterfly counts to goose banding.
Our mature staff, many of whom are teachers (and most have been counselors or campers at this and other camps), create a safe nurturing atmosphere, where self-accomplishment, team building and personal growth are promoted. Our activities are non-competitive, giving everyone a change to participate. They include swimming, sailing, skiing, canoeing trips, kayaking, backpack trips, baseball, volleyball, archery, arts and crafts, rollerblading, horseback riding, scuba and earth science and of course FUN. Let a lifetime of great memories begin this summer."
