Teen Extreme YMCA

| Teen Extreme is a summer day program for older elementary and jr. high students ages 11 through 14. Youth participate in a variety of activities, service projects and field trips. Programming focuses on Outdoor and Extreme sports, Team Building, Environmental Education, Service Projects, Developing Leadership Skills, Peer relationships, Mentoring, Day trips, and of course…FUN. At least once a week the camp will go on a fun field trip out of town such as going to water parks in the dells or going to state parks. Teens will also participate in weekly service projects, ed-ventures, swimming, and sports activities. Program operates from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily out of the Sun Prairie YMCA at 160 South Street.

Summer youth YMCA memberships are available.| Activities: Bicycling, canoeing/kayaking, computers/technology, crafts, cultural/ethnic awareness, dance, drama, exercise/aerobics/fitness, football, gardening/farming, leadership training, nature/environmental studies, outdoor skills, painting/drawing, rock climbing, rope course, soccer, swimming, writing.
