"Join us for a week filled with rockets, robotics, astronauts, scientists and neutral buoyancy exercises in scuba gear!
If you are a middle or high school student (entering grades 7-12 in Fall), you will take part in a wide range of training sessions, conduct space science experiments, meet research scientists and aerospace professionals and exciting field trips. You will design, build, and test your own space mission, including working with rockets, heat shields and recovery systems. In addition, you will be trained to use a solar telescope, navigate using the space-based Global Positioning system (GPS), and receive cadet astronaut training.
