UW Superior Youthsummer

| Explore careers, check out university life and have fun this summer. It's all part of Youthsummer 2001 at the University of Wisconsin Superior! If you're 13 to 17 years old, a student in good standing at school and curious about your future, then Youthsummer is for you. Choose a five-day course in a career field or a recreational area that interests you: computers, theater, ecology, aerospace, health care, creative writing and many others. Then start exploring under the guidance of university instructors and other qualified experts.

Campus of UW Superior, in a quite residential neighborhood just a few blocks from Lake SuperiorResident and day camp. Sessions for - coeds ages 13 to 17. June to AugustOne-week sessions.We admit until our courses are filled. Many courses have a limited enrollment of 14 students, and the rest have 10, 8 or 6, so students should apply early.Resident: $365 per week. Commuters: $220 per week. DPI minority scholarships available.| Activities: Backpacking/camping, bicycling, canoeing/kayaking, computers/technology, cultural/ethnic awareness, dance, drama, nature/environmental studies, outdoor skills, painting/drawing, photography, reading/book study, religious/spiritual development, sailing, scuba diving, woodworking, writing.
