Description
A Camp As Special As You Are!! Owned and operated by the Sinsinawa Dominicans since 1923, Camp WeHaKee provides girls and young women the chance to explore the activities they love and discover new talents, gifts and skills by offering nearly 40 activity choices. Activities cuch as horseback riding, waterskiing, tennis, pottery & ceramics, music, dance, theatre, journalism, sailing and windsurfing, swimming (heated pool & lake), canoeing and kayaking, biking, and much more! Staff are carefully selected, screened and background checked. Staff to camper ratio is 1:4. Directors Maggie & Bob Braun have over 40 years of combined camp and youth development experience. Located on the the shores of Hunter Lake on the beautiful Chippewa Flowage and at the base of the Chequamagon National Forest, Camp WeHaKee invites all girls to grow and have amazing fun this summer! Location and Programs
Location -
20 miles southeast of Hayward and 8 miles north of Winter, Wisconsin.
Program -
Resident camp. Sessions for - girls only ages 7 to 18. Also sessions for families.
Season -
Mid June to Mid August. Girls choose from three 2-week sessions, two 4-week sessions, or one 6-week session.
Sessions -
Two, Four and Six week sessions avaialble for girls. Family Camp is also available, Aug. 6-9, 2006.

Fees -
2 weeks: $1,600 4 weeks:$3,100 6 weeks:$4,200

Horseback Riding: $200.00 per 2 week session
Activities: Archery, basketball, bicycling, canoeing/kayaking, crafts, cultural/ethnic awareness, dance, drama, exercise/aerobics/fitness, field hockey/lacrosse, gymnastics, horseback riding (English), horseback riding (Western), leadership training, mathematics, music, nature/environmental studies, outdoor skills, painting/drawing, photography, reading/book study, religious/spiritual development, sailing, soccer, swimming, tennis, waterskiing, wilderness tripping, windsurfing, writing. Also - beach volleyball
