Wilderness Pursuit Horseback Adventures
Neillsville, Clark County
*A TOTAL HORSE EXPERIENCE!* Looking for a great adventure for your children this summer? Our family owned horseback-riding business of 30 years could be the answer. We specialize in 5-day trips for youth ages 8 to 17, with no experience or lots of experience. Campers will stay in cozy log-sided cabins.A picnic shelter is used for meals and visiting. We are semi-primitive campers- Everything is conducted outdoors to allow the youth to get in touch with nature. Thursday will be an all day ride in the Forest with a picnic lunch packed in on the horses. Native American horsemanship will also be shown. Horse painting is a highlight for campers as is creative work with beads and feathers on the horses. New for 2010 camps, the entire structure has been reworked; the camps will be run with the same chores and duties and with the same horse time or more, but under a different format. Youth will now earn horseshoes or credits to spend even more time with their horses and to earn different desserts at meals, extra treats at free time and also earn awards that are camp related. A completely new set of written material on horse facts, plus completely new riding activities will be taught.
