"Woodbrooke is a small Quaker-run, creative, non-denominational and non-competitive camp for children 7-12 years old located on 120 hilly, very rural, wooded acres in Richland Center, Wisconsin. Campers thrive with our small camper counselor ratio and choose their daily activities - including campcraft, the arts, archery, nature and other activities. Wholesome (mostly organic) meals are a daily part of life in our compassionate and caring community. Campers sleep in simple/rustic sleeping cabins, take care of the garden and goats and perform other chores. Each person learns life skills -- independence, accountability, personal value, negotiation, and decision making."

There is a parent potluck for the camper's families on the last day. Here we all get to meet each other and share stories of camp. |
