Stevens Point Area YMCA Horse Camps
Stevens Point, Portage County
The Stevens Point Area YMCA offers a wide variety of Overnight Resident Camp, Day Camp, Adventure Trip and Teen Leadership opportunities for campers ages 7-17.
Horse Camps are offered as a overnight resident or day camp option. Throughout the week campers touch on many different areas: safety, grooming and tack, saddling, groundwork (lunging and leading), mounting, dismounting, feeding and care, horse breeds, identification and daily riding lessons. Horsemanship activities are mixed with various camp activities. Horse camp is held at an off site certified stable, transportation is provided. Space is limited, register early.

YMCA Camp Glacier Hollow is located just 14 miles East of Stevens Point in Nelsonville, WI.Resident and day camp. Sessions for - coeds ages 8 to 14.
