Description
Camp Manito-wish YMCA offers a unique blend of traditional summer camp experiences and small group wilderness camping experiences. All aspects work together to encourage personal growth, independence, leadership and decision-making abilities, and fun. Every camper will go on a 2- to 10-day canoe trip on the pristine lakes and streams of northern Wisconsin. In addition, there is plenty of time for traditional camp activities including horsemanship, sailing, arts and crafts, nature, kayaking, biking, tennis, riflery, archery, and more.

Extended wilderness trips for teens and adults offered through Manito-wish Outpost.

Leadership programs available for schools, community organizations, church groups, and corporations all year.

Location and Programs
Location -
Four hours north of Madison, one mile from Boulder Junction on Hwy K
Program -
Resident camp. Sessions for - boys only grades 5th to & up, girls only grades 5th to & up. Also sessions for adults, families.
Season -
June to August
Sessions -
One-week,two-week and three-week sessions.
Manito-wish Outpost for teens offers extended wilderness travel.
Leadership Camp for ages 15 & older.
Registration -
Boys - available. Girls - available.
Fees -
$760 for one week.
$1,370 for two weeks.
$1,960 for three weeks.
Activities: Archery, backpacking/camping, bicycling, canoeing/kayaking, crafts, horseback riding (English), horseback riding (Western), leadership training, marksmanship/riflery, music, nature/environmental studies, outdoor skills, sailing, swimming, tennis, wilderness tripping, windsurfing
