 The Making of an Exhibit: The Zinn Dollhouse Edition

Curator of Collections and Exhibits, Janean Van Beckum, will explain the process of exhibit creation and design from the bottom up using the Zinn Dollhouse exhibit as an example. The WI Watercolor Society will be presenting their 65th anniversary with an exhibit "Diverse Directions" at Gallery 110 North at the Plymouth Arts Center. The exhibit begins with an opening reception on Oct. 13 from 4:30-7pm. and runs until Nov. 24, 2017. The theme for this exhibit will feature how unique and diverse watercolor paintings can be presented. Landscapes, floral, portraiture, abstraction, and non-objective will be presented. FREE.  The Physics of History
Wednesday, September 20, 2017 through Wednesday, December 13, 2017. 12 pm - 2 pm. "The Physics of History," taught by award-winning Professor David J. Helfand of Columbia University, gives you the background to understand how scientists know what they do about the past. These 24 lectures cover an astonishing range of cases in which physics has helped to redefine history. Class is facilitated by Jim Lamal and occurs every Wednesday, September 20 - December 13.
