 Artist Uncorked - Carved Gourds by Barb Bellmer
Saturday, February 21, 2015 through Sunday, February 22, 2015. 10 am to 6 pm. Barb Bellmer, a local artist from Rush Lake, will be displaying a collection of her carved gourds, as well as a few paintings in the wine cellar. Barb's fascination with gourds (nature's pottery) began when she took a weekend class at Washington Island in Door County. Since then she is constantly looking for "new canvas", this medium totally enthralled her with the individuality and uniqueness of each piece as well as its ability to be so versatile.  RTG Theatre Classes, Winter Term

 The Energy Fair
Friday, June 19, 2015 through Sunday, June 21, 2015. 9 am. Each year the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) hosts The Energy Fair, transforming rural Central Wisconsin into the hot spot for renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable living education. The Energy Fair brings over 15,000 attendees together to learn the latest and greatest in clean energy and sustainability, connect with others, and take action towards a more sustainable future.  West Allis Settlers Weekend
Saturday, August 22, 2015 through Sunday, August 23, 2015. 10 am 6 pm, 10 am 4 pm. 10th Anniversary. At Honey Creek Park in West Allis, WI. Enjoy the numerous re-enactors depicting their crafts, tools, and lifestyles leading up to the birth of our city in 1906.  What Makes the French so…French?
Sunday, September 7, 2014 through Tuesday, September 12, 2017. How do the French see themselves, and has that national self-image been consistent over the centuries? What national memories and cultural realities do they glorify or suppress? Through films, a few short readings and daily discussions, this class will explore several areas that are typically associated with French culture (haute cuisine, high fashion, the French language and romantic love) and question their veracity in describing Frenchness.
