Join Dr. Douglas Buege, President of Southern Wisconsin Butterfly Association, as he enlightens us to the diversity of butterflies found in Eastern Wisconsin - from very common to endangered species.  Climb a Kame An Evening Exploration
Saturday, July 18, 2015. 7-8 pm. After the glaciers melted away, they left behind a very distinctive landscape. Join us as we climb Dundee Mountain to gain a better understanding of how the glaciers created kames, eskers, moraines, kettles, and outwash plains. The trail is one and half miles long and it does require hiking up and down a steep hill. We will meet at the Ice Age Visitor Center and then car pool the three miles to the Dundee Mountain Summit Trail. This program is for people over the age of 12 years. Free.
