 Where are the Bats? Summer Saturday Evening Event
Saturday, August 9, 2014. 7:30 pm. Eight bat species call Wisconsin home. Paul White a DNR Bat Ecologist will describe several species that migrate to warmer climates for winter, while the others hibernate in caves and mines. The cave bats now face the threat of annihilation from white nose syndrome. Learn what must be done to protect them and how to work with scientists to record where bats live in our state.
