 Field Trip: Two Creeks Buried Forest
Saturday, May 4, 2019. 9:30 am. Learn about the famous spruce forest that was buried by a glacier in Wisconsin, then travel to see its remains. The wood is not petrified, but is remarkably well preserved. Participants must be able to hike down (and back up) a steep slope. Wear clothes and shoes that can get muddy.
