Saturday, February 11, 2017. 6:00 pm. More than 300 candles will welcome all to Pike Lake's 28th Annual Candlelight Ski/Hike/Snowshoe. Groomed trails, a roaring bonfire, a warming shelter, warm refreshments and big smiles will make a memorable evening, with or without snow. Northern Cross Science Foundation members will set up telescopes to provide star viewing and guidance. The Friends of Pike Lake and State Forest rangers will be on hand to provide help and guidance. He also has an interest for repurposing old materials and images, and finding new meaning for them. He finds it rewarding to give these images a fresh visual look as well as a new interpretation.
