Sunday, April 2, 2017. 2pm. WISCON-SING has been seen throughout our state as a sing-along song and slide portrait of the state of Wisconsin. The hour-long program presents songs that introduce Wisconsin from the original inhabitants through the European immigration up to our present day farmers and Great Lakes sailors. Thursday, March 30, 2017 through Sunday, April 2, 2017. 3/30-4/1 7:30pm and 4/2 2:00pm. Dance speaks volumes without saying a word. Throughout time, dance has been used to share joy, triumph, ritual, and sorrow. This annual favorite features choreography by faculty, students, and guest artists, that is imaginative, powerful, and fun. Each piece performed varies in style, so audiences are sure to find a dance that moves them. This year's guest artist, Leila Henry, hails from Chicago and brings her quirky fusion of hip hop, jazz and contemporary dance to DanceScapes '17. Tickets to the general public are $12.00. Tragedy, love, and of course, "The Iliad" and "The Odyssey" take center stage as we are introduced to Zeus, Odysseus, Hercules, Athena, Helen of Troy, and many more.  WPA Art from RAM's Collection

The museum's first director Sylvester Jerry obtained over 260 works produced through the Federal Art Project (FAP) of the Works Progress Administration (WPA), a program that provided jobs during the Great Depression of the 1930s. This show includes a selection of prints, watercolors, drawings, photographs, and textiles generated through the WPA that helped launch RAM's collection.  Variations on a Theme: Teapots from RAM's Collection
