 "On,Wisconsin!" Anniversary Events Continue
Tuesday, November 10, 2009. 1pm Memorial Union steps. Two events continue the 100th anniversary of the first performance of "On, Wisconsin!" The Badger Band and the UW Concert Choir honor the song. The Badger Band and the Wisconsin Union will hold a birthday bash on the steps of the Memorial Union as Madison Mayor Dave Cieslewicz will declare it "On, Wisconsin! Day." Emulating the nature journals of Lewis and Clark, participants will be trained in a series of four workshops that include a diversity of skill-building activities in writing, photography and sketching/drawing.
