 'Dead Man's Cell Phone'
Friday, November 13, 2009. 7:30pm. The UWP Department of Visual and Performing Arts will present "Dead Man's Cell Phone" from Thursday, Nov. 12 through 15.  'Runt of the Litter'
Friday, November 13, 2009. 7:30pm. The Center for the Arts, on the UWP campus, will host a performance called "Runt of the Litter" on Thursday, Nov. 12 and Friday, Nov. 13. The performance is a semiautobiographical account of Bo Eason's life and career as adefensive back for the Houston Oilers in the 1980's, where he played safety. His older brother, Tony Eason, was the quarterback who led the New England Patriots to the Super Bowl in 1986. His performance outlines a family of high achievers.  "Autumn Heart" Opens Season

A collection of 40 striking images of galaxies, planets and more will be on public display. The colorful exhibit is part of a worldwide celebration of the International Year of Astronomy, 400 years since Galileo used his telescope to peer beyond the Earth.
