Wednesday, November 18, 2009. 4:45 to 5:45pm. Wisconsin is a true champion when it comes to cranberries. This small but tastefully tart fruit is the state's most valuable fruit crop. Join Tom Lochner of the Wisconsin State Cranberry Growers Association as he leads guests through the in-and-outs of the cranberry industry. A complementary cranberry sample will be served.  Madison Premiere of "Name by Name"

The Dance Program received a National Endowment for the Arts: Master Dance award to host renowned, New York-based Susan Marshall and Company members in residence to re-stage Marshall's master work, to be performed by 18 Dance Program students. In addition to overseeing final rehearsals, Marshall recently named first director of dance at Princeton, will share her perspective of dance in higher education and life as a choreographer.  UWM Dept of Visual Art: Woven Images

Please enter through the south doors of the building, adjacent to the parking lot, when the front doors are closed. The first of two exhibitions of work by the Department of Visual Art's fibers students, Woven Images features hand woven pieces from recent weaving classes.  George Segal: Street Scenes

Segal (1924-2000) used plaster, found objects, and an innovative working process to make his life-scale works. Focusing on human interactions and everyday events in the urban setting, the exhibition includes works from the 1960s, when Segal first began using plaster, to the 1980s and 1990s, as he documented the effects of economic change.
