 Horse Power Healing Center -- Horses for Hope
Monday, May 8, 2017 through Friday, October 20, 2017. A program for children and adults who have been given a terminal medical diagnosis. The participants in "Horses for Hope" may visit the farm and meet the horses. If they are able, they can learn to ride a horse. There are no fees charged for the participants in this program. If an individual is unable to come to the farm, HPHC will bring the horses to visit hospitals, hospice centers and nursing homes. free.  Learn to Keep Bees - Beginning Beekeeping
Sunday, March 19, 2017 through Sunday, August 27, 2017. 10am-3:30pm. Ever thought about keeping bees? Like the idea of learning as you go throughout the season? Then this series of classes is right for you! We've divided up the content and set the schedule to provide beginning beekeepers the right information at the right time. Class meets Mar 19, Apr 9, June 25, and Aug 27 and consists of 20 hours of instruction and is designed for new beekeepers and individuals thinking about keeping bees.
