Thursday, May 11, 2017 through Thursday, October 19, 2017. 6 pm - 7:30 pm. A program on Thursday evenings for active military personnel, veterans and their families. Participants do not need to have any horse knowledge; lessons are tailored to the needs and interests of the veterans. HPHC believes veterans have more than paid their dues with their service and offers this program free of charge. Individual private lessons are available at a discounted rate of $25 per hour. free.  Horse Power Healing Center -- Horses for Hope
Monday, May 8, 2017 through Friday, October 20, 2017. A program for children and adults who have been given a terminal medical diagnosis. The participants in "Horses for Hope" may visit the farm and meet the horses. If they are able, they can learn to ride a horse. There are no fees charged for the participants in this program. If an individual is unable to come to the farm, HPHC will bring the horses to visit hospitals, hospice centers and nursing homes. free.  Puptoberfest - A day for the dogs

 Starving Artists' Show
Sunday, September 10, 2017. 10 am to 5 pm. The Starving Artists' Show is an annual outdoor art show held on the west lawn of Mount Mary University. It features over 200 local and national artists in a wide array of media selling artwork priced for $100 or less. The show is sponsored by the Mount Mary University Alumnae Association. Thursday, July 27, 2017 through Sunday, September 10, 2017. Seven shows weekly Wed - Sun. In Church Basement Ladies we meet the pastor, three cooks and one daughter who run the kitchen and care for the congregation. We watch as the four women handle a Lutefisk Dinner, a funeral, an Easter Fund Raiser, and, of course, a wedding. They stave off potential disasters, have loads of fun, share and debate recipes, instruct the young, and keep the pastor on a steady course. Br!NK is a weeklong residency with Renaissance Theaterworks dedicated to advancing the work of Midwestern women playwrights. Playwrights will workshop their script with a director, dramaturg, and full cast; a team dedicated to researching and considering the play from every angle.  Karen Johnson Boyd: From the Vault
Friday, August 4, 2017 through Friday, July 27, 2018. Karen Johnson Boyd was an advocate for and collector of art who had a strong affinity for contemporary American craft. This Windows on 5th installation pays homage to her role in establishing RAM's craft collection by featuring large-scale ceramic work that she donated to the museum over the years. With works presented as if being pulled from crates or out of storage, this exhibition offers a playful take on building a collection, honoring a donor, and managing works of art.
