 Horse Power Healing Center -- Horses for Heroes
Thursday, May 11, 2017 through Thursday, October 19, 2017. 6 pm - 7:30 pm. A program on Thursday evenings for active military personnel, veterans and their families. Participants do not need to have any horse knowledge; lessons are tailored to the needs and interests of the veterans. HPHC believes veterans have more than paid their dues with their service and offers this program free of charge. Individual private lessons are available at a discounted rate of $25 per hour. free.  Horse Power Healing Center -- Horses for Hope
Monday, May 8, 2017 through Friday, October 20, 2017. A program for children and adults who have been given a terminal medical diagnosis. The participants in "Horses for Hope" may visit the farm and meet the horses. If they are able, they can learn to ride a horse. There are no fees charged for the participants in this program. If an individual is unable to come to the farm, HPHC will bring the horses to visit hospitals, hospice centers and nursing homes. free. Wisconsin Public Radio, Wisconsin Public Television and the Wisconsin Veterans Museum are pleased to share Wisconsin Remembers: A Face for Every Name - a traveling exhibit that features a photo for each of the 1,161 Wisconsinites officially listed on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. The exhibit also includes additional photos for names listed on The Highground Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Neillsville, WI. Wisconsin Remembers is a tribute to lost life and lost potential.  Variations on a Theme: Teapots from RAM's Collection

Monday, June 5, 2017 through Friday, August 18, 2017. 8:30 am. Throughout the summer, we provide various nature-themed camps for children ranging from ages 3 to 8. These programs have a low teacher-camper ratio for the best nature learning experience. Children spend time outdoors, investigate critters living in their natural habitat in the adjacent marsh and forest and engage in games, crafts, and activities based on the week's theme.  Learn to Keep Bees - Beginning Beekeeping

Then this series of classes is right for you! We've divided up the content and set the schedule to provide beginning beekeepers the right information at the right time. Class meets Mar 19, Apr 9, June 25, and Aug 27 and consists of 20 hours of instruction and is designed for new beekeepers and individuals thinking about keeping bees.
