Sterling North wrote over thirty books, the most famous being an autobiographical account of his adventures with his pet raccoon Rascal. He also wrote So Dear to My Heart and The Wolfling. Local restaurants and taverns will spotlight their signature food and drinks - all for a great cause - at the All-American Taste of the Tavern League, Nov. 11 at Lake Lawn Resort, Delavan.
