Thursday, May 11, 2017 through Thursday, October 19, 2017. 6 pm - 7:30 pm. A program on Thursday evenings for active military personnel, veterans and their families. Participants do not need to have any horse knowledge; lessons are tailored to the needs and interests of the veterans. The participants in "Horses for Hope" may visit the farm and meet the horses. If they are able, they can learn to ride a horse. There are no fees charged for the participants in this program. In 1943 and 1945, "Fireflies," a Czech children's musical, was performed at the Terezin concentration camp outside of Prague by children doomed by the Nazi regime.  WPA Art from RAM's Collection

The museum's first director Sylvester Jerry obtained over 260 works produced through the Federal Art Project (FAP) of the Works Progress Administration (WPA), a program that provided jobs during the Great Depression of the 1930s. This show includes a selection of prints, watercolors, drawings, photographs, and textiles generated through the WPA that helped launch RAM's collection.
