From now through May 27, 2013, the "Real Pirates" exhibit explores pirate life in the 18th century, from joining the crew to plundering the Caribbean. More than 200 artifacts will be displayed, which were found on the "Whydah," a sunken pirate ship captained by "Black Sam" Bellamy, one of the most famous pirates of his day! As birds return to Wisconsin, this exhibition features paintings and drawings of Wisconsin birds -- cranes, hawks, cardinals, grosbeaks -- in watercolor and pen and ink. The exhibition is presented in conjunction with the Inaugural Bird City festival of the Town of Spring Green on Saturday, May 11th centered at the Spring Green Library.
