 Lake to Lake Challenge
Sunday, June 7, 2020. 10:00 am-2:00 pm. Check in and pick up your challenge sheet at the registration tent between 10:00 and 10:30 am to begin. Walk, run, or bike the 6.6-mile Lake to Lake Trail from Mauthe Lake to Long Lake solving puzzles and acquiring clues. Prizes awarded for the fastest walkers, runners, and bikers who complete all the challenges. For walkers and runners, a shuttle will take you back to Mauthe Lake.  Rob's Sugar River Ramble
Sunday, June 7, 2020. Connect with the Upper Sugar River Watershed by land and water as you cycle through the rolling countryside beginning in Mount Horeb, WI, then paddle the sparkling Sugar River until you reach your destination near Paoli, WI. After the event, get transported back to Mount Horeb with your fellow participants for a locally-sourced feast, beer tasting and entertainment from 11 am-2 pm. Boat rental space is limited.  Canoe Adventure Evening Exploration
Thursday, June 11, 2020. 6:30-8:30 pm. Venture by canoe around Mauthe Lake and up the East Branch of the Milwaukee River.  Journey into Darkness Night Hike
Friday, June 12, 2020. 8:30-10:15 pm. As the sun sets and the light fades from the sky, the day animals retire, and a new group of animals awakens. Bring your bug spray and sense of adventure as we search for night-flying birds. This night hike is best for families/groups with children at least 5 years old.  Alien Attack Drop In at the Beach
Saturday, June 13, 2020. 1:00-4:00 pm. Find out what foreign species can take over our native communities and what people can do to help control their spread. Make several distinctive crafts including a smashed-plant bandanna. Everyone is invited to drop in for a few minutes or more than an hour for some nature fun. Adults are encouraged to participate with their children.  Learn to Fly Fish
Saturday, June 13, 2020. 9:00-11:30 am. Join Jerry Kiesow, an avid fly angler, to learn the correct way to use fly fishing gear and tackle to catch a whole variety of fish. Bring your own gear, if you have some. A number of rods/reels will be available for participants' use. You will need a valid Wisconsin fishing license if you are 16 or older and plan to fish.  Lupine Junefest
Saturday, June 13, 2020. 8 am. The 14th Annual Lupine Junefest Bike Tour celebrates the blossoming lupines and the beginning of summer. It feature four different bike tours including a 10, 28, and 50 mile road rides and an out-and-back ride on the 10-mile paved bike trail; perfect for families and casual riders. Saturday, June 13, 2020. 10:00-11:00 am. Calling all youth to unravel the mysteries of nature by participating in the Wisconsin Explorers program! The program involves completing a required number of engaging nature activities in one of three age appropriate books (ages 3-5, ages 6-8, and ages 9+) to earn a very cool patch. Verona is a thriving, growing, economic juggernaut of a city in Dane County.  It's Like Poetry: Building A Toshiko Takaezu Archive at RAM
Friday, August 2, 2019 through Sunday, July 26, 2020. While unassuming in her disposition, artist Toshiko Takaezu (1922-2011) was a bona fide ceramic superstar who pushed the boundaries of clay in the late twentieth century. Inspired by nature and the environment, Takaezu created work that embodied a poetic balance between art and life. This exhibition in Racine Art Museum's Windows on Fifth Gallery features a selection from the more than 30 Takaezu works now in the museum's collection.  Third Annual Twin Triathlon

Fun event is unique in the Northwoods-8K paddle on North Twin Lake, followed by a 16K bike ride, then a 5K run. Individual ($35), a family or a team ($90). Do one leg, or all three!
