This nationally touring exhibition from American fiber artists is a joyful,diverse,and sometimes touching look at how we see ourselves as a nation.Touching on holidays,cultural,and personal celebrations,the exhibition is a bright and colorful look at how we see ourselves through our traditions.The 57 artists come from every geographical region of the U.S. and represent many ethnic and cultural groups.They have created a diverse assortment commemorating occasions from personal to solemn.  Emery Blagdon: The Healing Machine
Monday, December 17, 2012 through Sunday, January 12, 2014. This exhibition features a partial re-creation of the artist's original art environment, a shed in which hundreds of paintings and mixed-media sculptures were arranged and rearranged over the course of 33 years. The creation stemmed from the artist's belief that the Earth's natural energies could be harnessed and used to relieve pain and cure illness.
