 The RAP Ride
Saturday, September 12, 2015. 10am. Motorcycle/bicycle benefit ride for Compassion International, raising funds to purchase bicycles for children in under developed countries. Motorcycle registration begins at 10am. Motorcycle ride is 80 miles through scenic Sauk County, concluding at 2pm at the Hilton Garden Hotel in Wisconsin Dells, WI. Bicycle registration begins at 12pm at the Hilton Garden Hotel. Food, door prizes and music to follow. ALL proceeds to go towards the purchase of bicycles through Compassion International. $30 per motorcycle/ $10 per bicycle/ $5 per walker. Baraboo Area Visitor's Center, 600 W. Meet on the Pet Picnic Area Parking lot within the Mauthe Lake Recreation Area. Any questions please call the Ice Age Center weekdays between 8:30-4 or weekends between 9:30-5. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. 7 am. Join the Get Outdoors! Club it's the best: no dues, fees or requirements except to have a god time. This week the group will be bicycling on the Lake to Lake Trail. The trek will go from Mauthe Lake Pet Picnic Parking Lot to Long Lakea Recreation Area and back for a total of 13.2 miles. Bring your own equipment.  Kiwanis Ride to Read
Saturday, August 8, 2015. 6 am to 2 pm. Please join the Portage Kiwanis Club on their Metric Century "Ride to Read" fundraiser pedaling through scenic Amish country. The proceeds of this fundraiser will be used to purchase books for KIDS. Includes continental breakfast, refreshment stops in route, detailed route map, complimentary gift and SAG wagon if needed.  Lions Ride for Sight
Saturday, August 8, 2015. 8:00 am. Enjoy a beautiful bicycle ride through the coulees of La Crosse County and support the Liond free vision clinic, vision screening and other vision projects. Two trail ride on the La Crosse River State Trail and three road rides are available. Cost is $20 for adults and $8 for children, family max of $50. Time Trial - 12 mile race on a section of the flambeau River northeast of Park Falls consisting of multiple scenic and challenging riding opportunities, Sept. 6 Both races are open to anyone who wants to safely participate in self-imposed challenges with friendly competition. $20.00. 400 4th Ave S, Park Falls, Price County.
