Friday, July 11, 2014. 6 pm. The 2014 YMCA's Fit Kids Duathlon is a fun family - friendly event with multiple distances available for kids 12 and under.  2014 Lactic Edge Triathlon presented by Cellcom
Saturday, July 12, 2014. 8 am. Test your athleticism, individually or with a group. The YMCA Lactic Edge Triathlon is held at Bukolt Park in Stevens Point, WI. The Sprint course includes a 500 yard swim, 17 mile bike ride, and a 3.1 mile run. The Super Sprint course includes a 200 yard swim, 4 mile bike ride, and a 2 mile run. Individual Adult: $45 by June 21, $55 by July 10, $70 on site. Relay Teams: $65 by June 21, $75 by July 10, $90 on site. Ages 11 and up. Visit our website for more information. Wednesday, August 6, 2014. 7 am. Biking the 6.6-mile Lake-to-Lake (round trip 13.2 miles) bring your own bicycling equipment. Meet at the Pet Picnic Area Parking Lot located in the Mauthe Lake Recreation Area. In the event of severe weather, the activity will be canceled for that day. For more information or directions, contact the forest staff at the Ice Age Visitor Center by calling (920)533-8322. The center is open in Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. Free with 2014 Wisconsin State Park & Forest Vehicle Admission. Saturday, August 9, 2014. 10 am. The "Pursuit of the Arts" Bike Races feature a 10 mile 'sprint' course and a 26 mile 'elite' trek through Trempealeau County's countryside. The event is open to all ages and includes a chip timing system for those striving for their personal best. The race begins at 10AM on Saturday, August 9th at Arcadia High School.  Lions Ride for Sight
Saturday, August 9, 2014. 8:00 am. Enjoy a fun ride and support the Lions vision projects. 12K and 22K trail rides; 25K, 50K, and 100K road rides. Staggered starts. Helmets and trail pass required. Advance Cost: $20 (2 for $35) adults, Family $50, Child $8. Slightly higher on day of event. Includes sag and trail support, free tune-ups, t-shirt or socks and lunch.
