 2017 Point Kids' Duathlon presented by Cellcom
Friday, July 14, 2017. 6:00pm. The Stevens Point Area YMCA will host the 2017 Point Kids' Duathlon to benefit the YMCA's chronic disease programing. 7-9 year olds will complete a 1/4 mile run, 1.5 mile bike, 1/4 run, and 10-12 year olds will complete a 1/2 mile run, 3 mile bike, 1/2 mile run. Racers will be chip timed, participants will receive an event shirt, and top three finishers for each age group by will receive an award. The race begins at the Allen Center on UWSP campus.  31st Best Friends Gourmet Bike Tour
Sunday, July 23, 2017. Registrations starts at 6am. The ride is through the Fox Valley countryside. Routes - 4, 8, 12, 25, 55, 75, or the 100 mile. Rest stops along the route feature baked goods, fresh fruits, and beverages. Gourmet Picnic will be served from 10:30am to 3:00pm at the school featuring homemade soups, vegetables, beverages, sub sandwiches, wraps and calzones.  Lions Charities Ride for Sight
Saturday, August 5, 2017. 8:00 am. Enjoy a bicycle ride through the bluff and coulees of La Crosse County. Short rides on the bicycle trail and longer road rides. Free biycle tune-ups, biking socks or t-shirt and a free lunch after the ride. Cost is $20 or 2/$35. Family max is $50.  Scenic Shore 150 Bike Tour
Saturday, July 22, 2017 through Sunday, July 23, 2017. The Scenic Shore 150 Bike Tour is a two-day, 150 mile bike ride in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Starting in Mequon, WI and finishing in Sturgeon Bay, WI, riders cycle along Lake Michigan's shoreline and enjoy a volunteer supported route with rest stops, bicycle support, meals, and other amenities. The funds raised help to find cures and better therapies for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin disease and myeloma, fundraising. MATC Mequon North Campus, 5555 W Highland Road, Mequon, Ozaukee County.  Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival
Friday, September 15, 2017 through Saturday, September 16, 2017. Saturday riders can participate in a 40 mile, mass start, point-to-point off-road bicycle event travels from downtown Hayward over the famed American Birkebeiner Ski Trail, forest roads, snowmobile trails and other wooded lanes to the finish line at Telemark Resort in Cable. Riders can also choose the shorter 16 mile mass start race/tour as the perfect introductory event for those new to off-road cycling, younger riders or for those not ready to tackle the rigors of the marathon Chequamegon 40.
