 PAWS Pledge Walk and Fun Festival!

PAWS Walk is the Humane Society's biggest fundraiser of the year. NSCIA-SWC (The National Spinal Cord Injury Association - Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter) presents the Wheels & Heels Rush on Festa, a 5k run and a fun walk/casual wheelchair race. The event was created as a means of raising public awareness of disability issues and to generate funds to support our programs and to assist individuals with spinal cord injuries or disorders to become more independent. The Ho-Chunk Nation and ROTC color guards will lead this beginning dance followed by the Native American head staff. The MC will explain what's happening throughout the entry and the dancing that follows. Next in the Grand Entry lineup is a veterans' song, which invites veterans of all backgrounds, races and nationalities to walk together.
