 Don Gillum Memorial Bike-Hike
Saturday, July 20, 2019. 8 am - 1:30 pm. Great Headwater Trails Fun for all ages! Featuring a scavenger hunt and geocaching on foot or by bike.  A Taubman & Alexander Approach to Wellness: Workshop for Piano Teachers
Monday, August 19, 2019. 9:30 am - 12:00 pm. Technical work in piano lessons is usually focused on the piano student, though the physical demands of teaching piano can be challenging. In this workshop, Anna Reiser and Kathy Privatt will share strategies for staying healthy while teaching piano based in the Taubman Approach to piano playing and the Alexander Technique. Participants will learn ways to move optimally during teaching-related tasks, from demonstrating at the piano while standing to typing lesson schedules at the computer. $50 per person, prior registration required. One of Wisconsin's most popular bike rides, the Scenic Shore 150 is the largest locally organized and supported event for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
