 Kids' Art Adventures: BIG
Sunday, February 11, 2018. 1 pm. Experience BIG, an exhibition that focuses on the effects of scale. Then combine your imagination with your building skills to create a fanciful sculpture inspired by the exhibition. Kids' Art Adventures invite families to make art together following discussions of art led by an experienced museum educator. Children (six to ten) and an accompanying adult begin by gathering in the MMoCA lobby at 1 pm. The workshops fill up, so come 15 minutes early to put your name on a sign-up list. Free.  Wisconsin’s Largest Soup Cook Off
Saturday, March 10, 2018. 12:00 pm till 5:00 pm. Guardians of the Children hosts, Wisconsin's largest soup cook off. Winners receive cash prizes and a trophy. We will have live entertainment, Hundreds of raffle prices. 50/50 drawing. Sweet treats and GOC merchandise. Also, a silent auction. Special guests are sure to show up. The peddler has always been successful in selling his caps. When his sales hit a slump, a clever monkey offers to help him come up with a business plan. Just over an hour in length, these shows are great ways to make new memories. Tickets are just $6 each for children and adults and can be purchased from the Racine Theatre Guild. $6.
