Sunday, May 6, 2018 through Sunday, December 30, 2018. Sundays from 1:00 - 4:00. The Sterling North home, located at 409 West Rollin Street in Edgerton is open Sundays from April through December. Sterling North wrote over thirty books, the most famous being an autobiographical account of his adventures with his pet raccoon Rascal. He also wrote So Dear to My Heart and The Wolfling. The home which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. has been restored to the way it looked in 1917. Please visit our website. $3 for students and $5 for adults.  Artist Talk: Irene Grau
Friday, May 4, 2018. 6:30 pm. Irene Grau will discuss a new body of work she began during her five-week artist residency in Madison in the summer of 2017. Her plein air paintings draw attention to little-noticed aspects of the city's environment and identify instances of monochromatic abstraction in everyday scenes. Grau describes her artistic interventions as "going out in search of painting with a camera and a pair of hiking boots on." Seating in MMoCA's lecture hall is limited. Free.  Beer Launch with Octopi Brewing
Friday, May 4, 2018. 8 pm. The first Friday in May will offer a wide array of art-related experiences at MMoCA. Join us at MMoCA to celebrate the unveiling of MMoCA's first official beer. Museum guests will have the opportunity to celebrate the limited release of the specialty craft beer resulting from MMoCA's collaboration with Octopi Brewing, Art & Sons, and artist Meg Mitchell, whose installation in the rooftop sculpture garden served as the inspiration for this unique partnership.
