Wednesday, September 4, 2019. 7:00 am - 8:30 am. This informal group of people comes together on Wednesdays to enjoy an hour or two hiking along the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. Shuttles will be available between the starting and finishing spots. Meet at Ice Age Trail/Shelter 1 Parking Lot (located off County Road H on the north side of the road east of Milwaukee River near Kewaskum) for a stimulating 1.95-mile hike between Hwy 28 and County Road H Wisconsin State Park Sticker.  Yoga on the Trail
Wednesday, September 4, 2019. 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Through this intro class, all levels will find benefit; beginners have an opportunity to absorb new elements, and the more advanced have time to go deeper into a practice. Saturday, September 7, 2019. 7 pm. Spend time with a naturalist on a family friendly hike. We'll use magnifiers, binoculars, or other exploring tools to discover what's happening outdoors. If weather is questionable, call before coming. Dress for the weather. Bring a flashlight. What could be better than a campfire AND food on a September evening? We'll share some stories while we cook up some spicy, sweet, and and savory snacks around a backyard campfire. Bring your favorite "knock-knock" jokes to share. Free. We will then travel through the dark woods to find out what animals are awake and braving the cold of a winter night. This hike is best for families/groups with children older than 6 years old.  Halloween Nature Hikes
Friday, October 18, 2019 through Saturday, October 19, 2019. 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm. Traverse through the dark autumn woods to meet those things with wings: the fast-flying bat, the radiant scarlet tanager, dazzling dragonfly, and many more. This is not a scary hike and is best for those over 5 years of age. Groups leave every six minutes. The last hour-long hike leaves at 8:30 pm. While waiting for your hike, enjoy playing fun-filled games, making a craft to take home, or snacking by the glow of a campfire. In the event of severe weather, the event will be canceled.
