Friday, June 21, 2019. 7 pm. They're back! Join the Summit Players as they perform a mini-version of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet. Their "play out of a trunk" will run a little over an hour. Join them as they make Shakespeare fun, accessible, and open to everyone in the great outdoors. A 45 minute workshop will be held at 5:30 before the performance. Friday, June 21, 2019. 7pm. The Summit Players are coming back for their fifth season! With character switches, audience participation, and lots of laughs, their "play out of a trunk" lasts a little over an hour. Prior to the performance, the company will lead a 45 minute workshop for "kid" ages 8 and up. Come early to purchase popcorn and soft drinks before the performance. Friday, August 16, 2019. 7:30 pm. Spend time with a naturalist on a family-friendly hike. We'll use magnifiers, binoculars, or other exploring tools to discover what's happening outdoors. Watch the "just a teeny bit past" full moon rise at Havenwoods. We will witness the switch from daytime animals to nighttime animals.
