 Crossroads Trail Run/Walk 2K,5K,10K
Saturday, June 23, 2018. 8 am. Located on a 200-acre preserve, Crossroads Trail Run is chip-timed and for competitive and recreational runners/walkers of all ages. This well-marked course includes wooden bridge crossings, meadow meanderings, and evergreen cathedrals. Participants receive a performance T-shirt, a native tree, and locally produced refreshments. Crossroads Trail Run is a family event. Participants 7younger and 70 up register for free.  Earth/Work/Play Day
Saturday, April 21, 2018. 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Celebrate Earth Day by volunteering at the Pike Lake Unit of Kettle Moraine State Forest, helping prepare the facility for spring and summer visitors. Help plant, prune and tidy and see the facility from a new perspective . . and meet the rangers. All ages welcome and the ending time is up to you. Work boots and gloves are appropriate. Free.  Sprint Serenade Night Hike
Friday, April 27, 2018. 7:30 - 9:30 pm. Nature awakens from its long winter slumber with a symphony of sound. Journey through the darkening woods to reveal the animals providing the spring serenade. This hike is most appropriate for people over the age of 6 years. A Wisconsin State Park System vehicle admission sticker is required. Free with 2018 Wisconsin State Park Vehicle Admission Sticker.  Adult Hike-Wildflower Walk & Garlic Mustard Patrol
Saturday, April 28, 2018. 10 am - 11:30 am. We will patrol some of the best spots at Havenwoods in search of early spring wildflowers. While we will spend most of the time enjoying the flowers, we will carry garbage bags to remove garlic mustard threatening their livelihoods. Free.  5K Adventure Caveman Run & Wellness Day
Saturday, May 12, 2018. 10 am. The timed event for families and individuals visits different locations in the park, including the caves, and features healthy snacks and beverages. There's a drawing for prizes for participants who come dressed as a caveman. This is a fundraiser for Ledge View Nature Center. Before April 12: Family of 4 is $60; individuals $25.
