The session consists of two nights (August 3rd & 8th) of training from 4:30pm - 7pm. New volunteers will be introduced to hospice services, the roles of Hospice Alliance team members, and the open volunteer opportunities. Volunteer opportunities encompass a wide range of responsibilities, all with the goal of enhancing the lives of patients and their families. Video lectures provided by Professor Vejas Gabriel Liulevicius. This course examines the ideologies that promised utopias and total solutions to social problems, and related the terrible human toll of attempts to realize these blueprints.
