 Hunter Sight-in Day
Saturday, November 9, 2019. 8:00 am - 3:30 pm. All are welcome to come and sight in their firearms for the upcoming deer season. People only need to bring their own firearms and ammunition. Experienced range officers have volunteered to provide supervision that will keep the event safe for everyone involved. Targets will be set up at 25, 50 and 100 yards. Bore sighting is available, as are spotting scopes, targets, eye and ear protection, snacks, beverages and a hot lunch - all at no cost. Free.  Novice Pheasant Hunt
Saturday, December 14, 2019. 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Hunt pheasants with experienced hunter/mentors. View a demonstration of dog handling. Go to the field with a mentor, dog & dog handler to hunt live pheasants. Includes breakfast & lunch, & free to all participants. Registration required by December 7. Participants must be at least 12 years of age & have completed hunter's safety. Anyone under 18 must come with a parent or guardian to sign waivers.  OutWiGo Snow! - Lapham Peak
Saturday, January 11, 2020. 12:00 pm - 4 pm. Join Wisconsin State Parks staff for OutWiGo Snow!, a winter recreation celebration. Bundle up with family and friends for an afternoon of cross-country skiing, fat-tire biking, snowshoeing, ice fishing and ice safety demos, sledding, s'mores and more! Cross-country ski, fat-tire bikes and snowshoe rentals will be available. Participants of all ages are welcome. Wisconsin State Park vehicle admission sticker or day pass required for entry.  Monarch Monitoring
Sunday, July 19, 2026. 11:00 am. Help the naturalist monitor milkweed for monarch eggs, caterpillars, and butterflies. Collect data that scientists use to help monarch populations.
