Hi Jeff,

I'm sorry you were disappointed. Our packaging changes from time to time and our pictures don't always keep up with the latest. Your cardboard box should have been lined with Styrofoam on every side, plus at least one ice pack in the box.

UPS doesn't care that a package is perishable or not. In other words, they won't deliver it any faster if it's marked perishable. Please believe us on this. You may call UPS to inquire on their shipping methods.

Also, we anticipate that your cheese will not be cold at the time of arrival. That is why we include this message in every cheese shipment -
"o If your cheese is soft on arrival, place it in your refrigerator overnight and it will firm back up. o Your health will not be affected if the cheese arrived warm. o For best results, store cheese in plastic wrap in the cold meat drawer of your refrigerator. o Freezing cheese is not recommended as it will alter in flavor and texture. o Surface mold on cheese is natural: simply trim off the mold and the remaining cheese is still good. o Serve cheese at room temperature for the fullest flavor. o"

Most Sincerely,
David Falck
